SurfGirl Soul Sessions, 7th September
A Morning of Movement & Art by the Ocean.
Join us on September 7th for the very first SurfGirl Soul Session: focussing on connection, creativity, and community, set against our dreamy ocean coastline.
For this session, we invite you to enjoy a morning of oceanside movement and creation, guided by incredible local talents Holly Purchase and Delphine Gwilliam-O'Connor.
We will begin with a blissful clifftop yoga-breathwork session, inviting you to ground yourself, move, and breathe with the ocean at your side.
This will be followed by a chance to socialise and chat (with treats!), before we welcome Delphine to the stage with one of her much-loved art workshops. Set on the beach, this session will draw on water, movement, and our natural surroundings to guide your creative flow.
Each attendant will get a SurfGirl goodie bag.
We meet at 10.15am on the Esplanade Green, South Fistral. Parking around here is limited, so get here early to get a space. The session finishes at 2.15pm.
Please bring yoga mats or a large towel, water, sunscreen and weather appropriate clothing for rain or shine.
About Holly:
Holly has been teaching yoga for several years, both locally and internationally. She’s shared her practice at festivals, events, and with a range of well-known brands. Holly’s classes are kind, relaxed, and centered around simple, breath-led movement. She believes yoga should be fun and accessible for everyone and she offers a welcoming space for all levels.
About Delphine:
Delphine’s life has been marked by her creative skill, which has determined her various studies and professional roles in art and design. After deciding to host a series of workshops in 2022 and receiving outstanding feedback, Delphine has continued to expand her offerings. In the past year, she has taken the local community on an exploration of various artistic mediums, including oil pastel, ink, graphite, and pencil workshops, taking place within (and inspiration from) our local landscape. Focused on community and joy as much as creation, Delphine’s classes are intimate, laidback, and welcoming. You are sure to leave her sessions with the feeling of having spent time with good friends, as well as basking in a creative, grounded glow.
